Russ has worked in marketing communications for 30 years, holding strategic and leadership roles in a variety of blue-chip companies including Coca-Cola, Havas, IPG, WPP, and Inizio.
Russ is a Marketing Group of Great Britain member; Mentor and Scholarship panel member for The Marketing Academy; Forbes Business Council member; RSA Fellow; speaker for Speakers for Schools, Bloom ambassador, EMBA advisor for Oxford Saïd Business School and holds an Honorary Doctorate from the University of West London. He is Chair of Trustees for Creative Mentor Network, former Chair of Isla, and NED of Basketball England.
He has been Management Today “Leader of the Year”, Creativepool “Creative Leader of the Year”, featured as Campaign magazine “Top 10 CEO” & “Top 10 Strategist”, voted one of the UK’s “Inspirational Creative Leaders”, named by DIMA as a “Top 50 Male Advocate for Equality”, and recognized as Women in Marketing’s “Equality Advocate of the Year”.
